What is yoga?

Yoga is the calming of the mind. The burning of the spirit. The harnessing of your power. Many of us find yoga as a source of physical therapy or training, but broaden our yoga experience to encompass more heart + spirit, along with the physical benefits. 

Yoga can teach us about our bodies and our minds, and how the two work along side one another- sometimes together, sometimes opposing in an internal battle . When we learn to quiet the mind, we can see our true selves, and how to work the mind, body, & spirit together in unity. 

Most importantly, yoga should be whatever you make it. No rules. Your practice + your  journey.
