Haramara is an eco-luxury resort nestled above Mexico’s Pacific coast on 12 private acres of tropical jungle with a private, pristine beach— all just minutes from the village of Sayulita, backed by the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. The open-air sleeping cabana experience is enhanced by the sound of ocean waves, and offers an opportunity to truly unplug—as the cabanas all lack electricity, and utilize oil lamps and candles for enchanting, intimate lighting. (Electricity is easily accessible in common areas for charging, etc)

Haramara’s staff caters to each unique retreat experience with an exceptional restaurant offering nourishing, creative, local cuisine. The cuisine includes delicious, fresh, mostly organic gourmet meals in a beautiful open air restaurant. Meals are personalized for each client’s dietary needs & restrictions, and the food is a high point of the experience!

The massage therapists at Haramara are first class! You won’t want to miss out on the oceanside spa experience!

Our retreat will include daily yoga & meditation with Meesh & Colin, and three gourmet meals. Haramara offers additional activities/spa services and the vibrant town of Sayulita is a short walk or taxi ride away- with rich culture and abundant options for entertainment, dancing, surfing, snorkeling, and more!

Retreat costs per person:

  • Dorm Occupancy (women only) - $2,000

About this trip

Meesh Metcalf hosted a yoga retreat for 6 nights / 7 days of relaxation, fun in the sun, and yoga in the stunning archipelago of Bocas Del Toro, Panama!  The retreat began on Sunday, January 8th, 2022, at Bluff Beach Retreat, a stunning, private retreat center for the week.

The group enjoyed 3 delicious, locally sourced meals each day from our fabulous private chef, daily yoga classes with Meesh, and all the sunshine you could soak up! We included one group excursion in your retreat package so that you can get a feel for all the magic Bocas has to offer.

Free time was spent soaking up the sun on our near private beach, relaxing by the pool, getting a massage, biking to hidden beaches, exploring hiking trails around the retreat center, horseback riding, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, and experiencing the local culture of Bocas del Toro. These are just a few of the many optional excursions available to you.
